Rhodamer, 80, of Friedens RD 1, died July 29, 1973, in the Church of the Brethren Home, Scalp Level. Born July 6, 1893, in Brothersvalley Township, he was a son of Samuel B. and Elizabeth (Mosholder) Rhodamer. Surviving are his wife, the former Linnie Platt; and these children, Orpha, wife of Wilbur Stern, Dickson, III.; Edna, wife of Samuel Gilmore, Johnstown; Hazel, wife of Charles McLaney; April May, wife of Glenn Berkley, Friedens RD 1; Leon; Pauline, wife of Donald Will, both of Somerset RD 5; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Solomon of Baltimore, Md. He was a member of Brotherton Church of the Brethren, UMWA, Labors International Union of North America, Sunday School superintendent, and a forest fire warden for many years. His death ended a marriage of 56 years. Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in Brotherton Church of the Brethren with Rev. Kenneth Blough officiating. Interment in Brotherton Cemetery.
