SHELBY JEANNE RICHTER

Grantsville, Maryland

  Shelby Jeanne Richter, six-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Richter, 
died about three o'clock Monday morning, Oct. 28, at the home of her parents, on 
Negro Mountain.  The baby had been ill only three days and her death was 
attributed to double pneumonia.  In addition to her bereaved parents, two 
sisters, Elaine and Yvonne, survive.
  Funeral services for the child were held from the home at 10 o'clock Wednesday 
morning and interment was in the Grantsville Cemetery.
  Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Richter was Miss Eleanor Younkin, daughter of 
George and the late Susan Younkin.
