  MRS. HERBERT RINGER 
  
  Mrs. Holdah C. Ringer, of Grantsville, 70, died Feb. 12 at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born at Turtle Creek, Pa., she was the daughter of
  the late James R. and Alice (Churchfield) Smith.  She was a member of
  St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Grantsville, and an honorary
  member of St. John's Ladies Aid LCA, The Cove.  Surviving are tier
  husband, Herbert Ringer; one son, Charles Ringer, Chambersburg, Pa.,
  one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Pritts, Meyersdale; two sisters, Mrs. Alice
  Forgie and Miss Mary Smith, both of Monroeville, Pa.; five
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Services were conducted at
  Newman Funeral Home Feb. 17 by Mrs. Sadie Triplett.  Interment was in
  St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Hill.
