Kenneth "Conn" Ringler, 88, of Salisbury, died July 1, 2002 at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born March 21, 1914 in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Earl C. and Lucinda (Lowery) Ringler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Riley) Ringler, Nov. 1977; twin sons David and Daniel and three brothers, Clyde, Lawrence and Walter. He is survived by two daughters: Geraldine "Geri" Miller, Grantsville, Md.; Ann M. Scarpelli, Frostburg, Md. He was the brother of: Earl, Karl and Harry Ringler, all of Salisbury; Ethel Harding and Louise Tressler, both of Salisbury; Anna Marie Anderson, Radford, Va.; five grandchildren, Robert Zembower; Marli Zembower; Pam Foy; Amy Miller and Sam Miller and two great-grandchildren, Douglas and Rachel Foy. He was a retired coal miner and construction worker and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and.7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway. No visitation on Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's United Church of Christ with Rev. Tomy Holliday officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
