  Louise Barbara Romesberg, 94, Meyersdale, formerly of Rockwood, died
  Jan. 6, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Oct. 10, 1903,
  daughter of Clarence Jacob and Catherine (Ansell) Critchfield.
  Preceded in death by parents; foster parents, Charles and Etta
  (Ansell) Critchfield; husband, Leonard Leroy Romesberg, who died July
  14, 1991; and three brothers, Charles R., Frank and James W.
  Critchfield.  Survived by daughters:  Mrs. Elaine L. Childs of
  Rockwood and Mrs. Audrey Salay of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren,
  Charles Salay Jr. of Terre Haute, Ind.; Mrs. John (Susan) Mayer of
  Somers Point, N.J.; Mrs. Rob (Carol) Stall of Raleigh, N.C.; and
  great grandchildren, Jason and Holly Salay, Scott and Jessica Cable
  and Lauren Stall.  Sister of Mrs. Ruth Sanner of Somerset and John
  Critchfield of Connellsville.  Member of Trinity United Church of
  Christ, Rockwood.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday,
  at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at
   a.m., Friday.  Rev. Mark D. Bender officiating.  Interment Rockwood
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
