SAMUEL B. ROMESBERG

  Samuel B. Romesberg, Garrett, R.D. 1, died last Thursday morning at 4:30 in 
the Somerset Community Hospital after a short illness.  He was 63 years old.  He 
was a son of the late Samuel J. Romesberg.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Romesberg, and eleven children: Mrs. 
Lucille Holsinger, Mrs. Emma Braucher, Mrs. Jayne Cole, Burt Romesberg, all of 
Akron, O.; Mrs. Gladys Goudy, Warren, Pa.; Mrs. Grace Berkebile, Kantner; Edward 
Romesberg, Detroit; Joy, Lyle, Dwight and Lynn, all at home.  Also surviving are 
17 grandchildren, 2 sisters - Mrs. Savilla Phennicie and Mrs. Louise Yutzy - and 
three brothers - Theodore, Frank and Norman Romesberg.
  Mr. Romesberg was a life-long resident of Black Township and a member of the 
Garrett Evangelical Church.
  Funeral services were held in the Garrett Lutheran Church.  Rev. W. M. Minerd 
and Rev. Charles M. Raley officiating.  Interment in Highland View Cemetery 
under direction of Mills and Mickey, Rockwood morticians.
  Some of the out of town people who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. 
Norman Romesberg, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Henckel, Sr., Mr. and 
Mrs. Elmer Henckel Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Henckel and children, Judy, Carol, 
Richard and Carl of Uniontown; Mrs. J. A. Adams, Creekside, Pa.; Mrs. Henry 
Yutzy, Cumberland; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Romesberg, Hagerstown, Md.; Mr. and 
Mrs. Scott Romesberg and children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Romesberg, Uniontown; Mr. 
and Mrs. George Pyle and family, Somerset, Mrs. George Eiler, Frederick, Md.
