  Myrtle J. Ross, 87, of Salisbury, died March 31, 1988, in Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born May 29, 1900, in Garrett County, Md., daughter of the
  late Floyd and Armada (Durst) Poleman.  Preceded in death by husband,
  Herman J. Ross; four sisters and two brothers.  Survived by one
  daughter, Mrs. Ethel M. Kimble, Meyersdale; one sister, Mrs. Minnie
  Baker, Grantsville RD 1; a granddaughter, K. Rebecca Kirchner,
  Meyersdale; and great-grandsons, David, Bryan and Mark Kirchner. A
  member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, and a member
  of Salisbury American Legion Auxiliary.  Friends will be received 2-4,
  7-9 p.m. Friday at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services
  will be held 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. David E. Fetter
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
