"John" Savage, 83, of Confluence RD 2 died April 27, 1997, at Uniontown Hospital. Born Dec. 10, 1913, in Henry Clay Township. A son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Sarah Elizabeth (Taylor) Savage. Survived by his wife, the former Julianna Seggerty; two sons, John and Howard, and a daughter, Judith Adams, all of Confluence; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Wallace of Lemont Furnace, Benjamin H. Jr. of Fairmont, W.Va., Harvey of Uniontown and Robert of Ursina, and a sister, Bertha Hatter of Morrell. He attended the Grace United Methodist Church and retired from Glassport Works of Textron Steel. Friends are being received today (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. David Lee officiating.
