Born Oct. 25, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Robert L. and Margaret I. French. Preceded in death by nephews, Douglas Lape and Steve Anderson. Survived by parents, Plant City, Fla.; husband, Alfred; son, John, at home; sisters: Dodie Walker and boyfriend, Jim Kinkaed, Plant City, Fla.; Barbara French, Clearwater, Fla.; brother, Robert L. French Jr. and his wife, Millie, Plant City, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. She retired after more than 20 years as a registered nurse and also a doctor of chiropractic. She worked for Hernando Pasco Hospice. Member of the band boosters at River Ridge Middle and High Schools. She was also very active with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in Newport Richey. Member of Mayflower Society, she was a direct descendant of the Braden families. She is a 1966 graduate of Somerset High School. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society
