Schramm, 77, of Salisbury, died Sept. 5, 1974, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Feb. 9, 1897, in Salisbury, he was a son of the late John and Matilda (Dersch) Schramm. Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Stevanus; a son, Charles R. Schramm of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Mona Lee Forrest, of Laurel, Md.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ray and Clyde Schramm of Cumberland; and a sister, Mrs. Melda Wampler of Richmond, Ind. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Imogene. A veteran of World War I. Mr. Schramm was also a member of Salisbury American Legion and St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury. Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran Church, with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment in Salisbury Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, September 12, 1974 [S0476]
