SARA J. SCHROCK

  Mrs. Sara Jane Schrock of Garrett, died Thursday, Sept. 25, in the Hazel 
McGilvery Hospital, Meyersdale, following an illness of three weeks.  She was 
the widow of Elias B. Schrock, who passed away two years ago.
  Mrs. Schrock was a daughter of Jacob and Mary Ann (Frye) Lohr and was born in 
Johnstown.  She is survived by these children: Lawrence J. Schrock, Rockwood; 
Clyde L. and Lloyd Schrock, both of Garrett; Emma Schrock, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. 
Edith Bowman and Gertrude Schrock, both of Washington, D.C.  A son, Frank 
Schrock, preceded her in death.  Surviving also are 16 grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Schrock home 
by the Rev. A. Jay Replogle of the Church of the Brethren.  Interment in the 
Garrett Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Son, Berlin morticians.
