  SHAFFER
  
    Goldie M. Shaffer, 81, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of
  Lemon Road, Hollsopple, died Dec. 1, 1999, at Somerset Hospital.  Born
  June 25, 1918, in Hooversville, daughter of Alexander and Lizzie
  (Naugle) Yoder.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Grant E.
  Shaffer; brothers, Henry and Harry; one grandson; two great
  grandsons; and nephew, Donald Yoder.  Survived by these children: 
  Richard, married to former Patricia Clark of Jerome; Nancy, wife of
  Ronald Singer Sr., Rockwood; Betty, wife of Leon Holsopple, and Ray,
  married to former Patricia Stutsman, both of Hollsopple; also 14
  grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Also survived by niece,
  Ila Stiffey, Somerset.  A life member of St. Thomas Lutheran
  Church.  Was active in the LCW.  Family receiving friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc.,
  Davidsville.  Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at St. Thomas
  Lutheran Church, where remains will lie in state from 10 a.m. until
  the time of service, the Rev. Gerald Myers.  Interment, Berkey
  Cemetery.
