  Marian B. Shaffer, 94, North Rosina Avenue, Somerset, died Oct. 2,
  1980, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 24, 1885, in Jenner
  Township, daughter of John and Addie (Ream) Smucker.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Frank O.; one son, John, one infant
  brother and four sisters.  Survived by these children: Fred B.,
  Somerset, and Margaret, wife of Clayton Walker, Somerset RD 2; five
  grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great
  grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Walter and Mae Heiple, both of
  Boswell.  Member Sipesville Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be
  received after 7 p.m. Saturday (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where service will be conducted Sunday 2 p.m., the Rev. Blair C.
  Harshbarger officiating.  Interment Hoffman Cemetery.
