    Fleta J. Shaw, 70, Somerset, died May 27, 2000 at her residence. 
  Born Dec. 21, 1929 in Somerset, daughter of the late Virginia (Moyer)
  Nicholson.  She is survived by children: Robert P. Bittner, married to
  the former Karen Walschmidt of Gibsonia; Richard W. Bittner, married
  to the former Rebecca Sarver of New Cumberland; Mrs. Charles (Kay)
  Pletcher of Stoystown; Scott Bittner, married to the former Charlotte
  Singer of Friedens; grandchildren:  Kevin and Douglas Bittner; Bret,
  Mindy and Nicole Bittner; John, Veronica, Michael and Michelle
  Krisch; Jesse and Josh Knopsnyder; and brother, Fred Nicholson,
  married to the former Florence King of Hilliard, Ohio.  She is a
  lifetime member of the Calvary United Methodist Church.  She worked
  for 10 years for the Somerset Sewing Factory.  Retired after 17 years
  as a Nurses' aid from Somerset Hospital and was a 1947 graduate of
  Somerset Area High School.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Calvary Methodist Church with Rev. Raymond Lyon
  officiating.  Interment will be at the Husband Cemetery. 
  Contributions can be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church, 239
  West Church Street, Somerset, Pa., 15501.  Arrangements under the
  direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
