  SUSIE SHOEMAKER
  
    Susie Shoemaker, 90, of Star Route, Springs, died Jan. 23, 1984, at
  home. 
    Born April 22, 1893, in Summit Township, she was the daughter of
  the late David J. and Alice (Lindeman) Maust.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, Ray L. Shoemaker; and a son, Markle.
    She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Leora G. Briskey, and Mrs.
  Dorothy E. Miller, both of Star Route, Springs; one son, Carl D.
  Shoemaker, Springs; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
    She was a member of the General Conference Mennonite Church.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  funeral services were held with the Rev. Steven J. Heatwole
  officiating.  Interment, Springs Cemetery.
