  SLOPE
  
  Shirley Slope, 46, Somerset, died May 7, 1998 in Somerset Hospital,
  born Sept. 6, 1951, in Somerset, daughter of Alma (Chaney) Ohler and
  the late John Ohler.  Preceded in death by father, infant brothers:
  John and George.  Survived by her mother, Fairhope; her husband,
  John, two daughters: Jennifer and friend, Ronald Mishler, Garrett;
  and Marlyn at home; one grandson, Shawn Jacob Mishler; also these
  brothers and sisters: Ellen and James Benning, Amy, Dorothy and
  Dalton Miller, and Alma Jean and Kenneth Benning, all of Fairhope;
  Clarence and Donna Sheeler, Somerset; William and Shirley Lauer,
  Grand Junction, Col.; and Robert and Mary Emerick, Berlin.  Memorial
  services at 1 p.m., Saturday in Harbor Lighthouse, Berlin, with the
  Rev. Ralph Tinkey Jr. officiating.  Arrangements in charge of the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
