  SMITH
  
    Lawrence Smith, 88, of Confluence RD 3, died Feb. 8, 1900 in the
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born Aug. 17, 1901 in Addison Township.  A son
  of the late Daniel and Louisa Smith.  Preceded in death by his wife
  Ethel (Gower) Smith and a daughter DeLaine Swearman.  Surviving are a
  son-in-law George Swearman of Addison, three grandchildren and 10
  great grandchildren.  Also two brothers, Herbert, of Confluence, and
  Frederick, of Accident, Md., and three sisters, Elsie Smith and Effie
  Gower, both of Confluence, and Mable Davis, of Addison.  Friends will
  be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at
  the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where service will be held
  Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Douglas Baker officiating.  Interment,
  Addison Cemetery.
