  Mrs. Bessie R. Snyder, 88, of Rebecca Street, Somerset, died November
  28, 1972, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born in Frostburg, Md., on
  Aug. 2 1884, a daughter of Bernard and Katherine (Donahue) Rooney. 
  Preceded in death by her husband, Harry B., a son, Harry R., a
  daughter, Dora Jean, three brothers two sisters, one grandson and one
  granddaughter.  Survived by one son, Joseph P. of Falls Church, Va.;
  four daughters: Mrs. Walter Smith of Glen Burnie, Md.; Helen, wife of
  Eugene Pile of Friedens; Mrs. Katherine Pucci of Somerset; and Miss
  Willa Jean Snyder of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, ten
  great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.  A sister of Mrs.
  Bernadette Sweitzer of Frostburg, Md.  Member of St. Peter's Roman
  Catholic Church.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  Wednesday (today) in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where
  rosary will be recited 8:30 p.m. Thursday.  Funeral Mass will be
  Friday 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, with
  the Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.
