  Willard J. Snyder, 56, of Stoystown RD 1, (Ferrellton) died July 26,
  1979, Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 11, 1922, in
  Stonycreek Township, son of Roscoe and Ada (Miller) Snyder.  Preceded
  in death by parents, brothers: Herbert and Hillis.  Survived by widow,
  the former Elaine Zimmerman, whom he married Dec. 25, 1948, and these
  children: Mrs. David (Donna) Faidley, Friedens RD 2; David,
  Cleveland, Ohio; Dwayne, at home; two grandchildren.  Brother of Ida,
  Johnstown; Ernest, Arvada, Col.; Vernon, Central City RD 1; Edgar,
  Midland, Pa.; Delbert, Denver, Col.; Mrs. Carl (Ruth) Hetrick,
  Friedens RD 2; Roscoe, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. James (Irma) Heiple,
  Somerset RD 5.  Formerly worked as custodian at Somerset Vo-Tech
  School and drove bus for North Star School District.  Member of
  Kantner United Methodist Church.  Family received friends Thursday
  evening and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
  at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to
  Kantner United Methodist Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until
  services at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn,
  officiating.  Interment, Glade Cemetery, Shanksville.
