  Woodrow W. Snyder, 72, 958 Boswell Hgts., Boswell, died Sept. 21,
  1987, at home.  Born Feb. 15, 1915, in Acme, son of Irvin S. and Anna
  Viola (Lankey) Snyder.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Goldie
  Speicher and Alice Lankey; and brothers, Domer, Albert, Henry and
  Wilbur.  Survived by wife, former Ruby Jean Koontz; two sons: Robert
  L., married to former Majorie Lindeman, Boswell RD 1; Woodrow M.,
  married to former Roberta Whitehead, Connellsville; three grandsons,
  Stephen, Jeffrey and Sean.  Brother of Marie, wife of Ralph Eastlake,
  Johnstown; Shirley, wife of Ray Wiley, Ligonier; Susan, wife of
  Sherman Flack, Elizabeth; and Charles, Acme.  Member of Laurel Hill
  Gospel Tabernacle.  Retired coal miner and former employee of North
  Fork Country Club.  Army veteran of World War II.  Would have
  observed 48th wedding anniversary Oct. 21, 1987.  Friends received
  from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held
  11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes.  Interment, Thomas
  Mennonite Cemetery.
