  GURNEY H. SPIKER
  
    Gurnery H. Spiker, 88, of Salisbury RD 1, died March 20, 1979 at
  his residence.
    Born in Grantsville, Md., he was a son of the late Isaac and Moriah
  (Durst) Spiker.  He was a member of the Mennonite Church.
    Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Dessie (Pearce) Spiker, he is
  survived by two sons, J. Hubert Spiker, Grantsville and Lawrence
  Spiker, Somerset; a stepson, James Riley, Connellsville; two
  daughters, Mrs. Rosella Hendrickson, Cumberland, Md., and Mrs.
  Shirley Lipstik, Mentor, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 16
  great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Newman Funeral Home with the Rev. J.
  Rogers Fike officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
