She was aged 65 years, 11 months and 22 days. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Austin Kennell, of Cumberland, Maryland, and Mrs. James Chambers, of Connellsville. She is also survived by sisters: Mrs. Joseph Peerless, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. William B. Groff, and Misses Maggie and Lillie Baer, of Meyersdale. Her funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Luther J. Frantz, of the Lutheran Church, at the home of her sisters, Maggie and Lillie Baer on Main Street, followed by burial in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Staub was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon J. Baer, long since deceased. She lived in Meyersdale practically all her life. She was a lifelong and devoted member of the Lutheran church and a splendid woman in every respect. She supported herself and her children before their marriage by keeping a boarding house which was noted for its good home cooking and homelike accommodations. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her, and her death is deplored by many friends. Meyersdale Republican, December 4, 1930
