Stotler, 88, of Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 25, 1978 at home. Born Dec. 1, 1889 in Quemahoning Township, Somerset County, the daughter of John J. and Minnie (Baer) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edgar, who died April 26, 1959; son, John; also two sisters and one brother. Survived by these children: Kathlyn, widow of Herman Driggs of Erie; Jean, widow of Calvin Yutzy of Boswell RD 1; William J., married to the former Mildred E. Horner of Bedford; Mary Alice, wife of Samuel J. Gary of Boswell RD 1; Marguerite, wife of the Rev. Paul Bambling of Gwynn, Va.; Betty Jane, wife of Melvin Coughenour of Tucson, Arz.; Joyce, wife of Ron Bambling of Vienna, Va.; also former daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Gardner of Stoystown; also 35 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Boswell. Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William H. Stotler, her grandson, officiating. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
