Born Nov. 22, 1892, in Shanksville, son of Edmund and Elizabeth (Raymond) Stull. Preceded in death by parents, four brothers and four sisters. Survived by wife of 57 years, the former Iona Meyers Hendershot, daughters: Mary Ann Stull and LaVerne Gillespie, both of Vineland, N.J., and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Lowery, Baltimore, Md., four grandchildren, two great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. Former painting contractor. World War I army veteran. Member of Stonycreek Valley American Legion Post 911, Somerset Barracks 3218, Veterans of World War I, Shanksville Volunteer Fire Company, Shanksville-Stonycreek Sportsmen, and Somerset County Baseball Old-Timers. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Horst H. Bandle.
