  Salome K. Taylor, 89, of Somerset, died June 13, 2001, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 14, 1911, in Hooversville, she was the daughter of the
  late Lewis J. and Irene D. (Manges) Younker.  Also preceded in death by a
  brother, Russel, and sisters Margaret Tooland, Ortha Davidson and Ruby
  Knipple.  Survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Michael (Cindy) Emerick of
  Florida, foster grandson Christopher, nephew Richard Baker, niece Mrs.
  Clyde (Jean) Mostoller and several other nieces and nephews.  Member of
  Somerset Church of the Nazarene and a retired seamstress.  Friends received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset,
  where services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. John Buchko
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the
  Nazarene church, 382 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
