  Emma V. Thomas, 94, Hollsopple RD 1, died Nov. 10, 1994, at the William
  Penn Care Center, Jeannette.  Born Jan. 7, 1900, in Jenner Township.
  Daughter of William and Sarah (Penrod) Eppley.  Preceded in death by parents
  and sister, Mary Blough; brothers, John and Ira Sr., and husband, Leroy, who
  died in 1979.  Survived by these children: Denton, married to former Lynn
  Cauffiel, Jerome; Violet, wife of Martin Cover, Boswell; Donald, Indiana,
  Pa.; Marlin, married to former Mary Lou Billetdeaux, Irwin, and Mary K.,
  wife of Sherman McLucas, Atglen, Pa.; also 14 grandchildren, 19
  great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Stella
  Kathryn Boyer, Hollsopple RD 2.  Member of Maple Spring Church of the
  Brethren and the Ladies Aid Society.  Family receiving friends from 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the George E. Mason
  Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.  Service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maple Spring
  Church of the Brethren, where remains will lie in state from 1 p.m. until
  time of service, Rev. Roger Knepper.  Interment, church cemetery.
