THOMAS, Iva "Grace"

Iva "Grace" Thomas, 95, Windber, died Jan. 15, 2007, at Windber Medical Center. 
Born Oct. 16, 1911, in Salix, daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Walter) 
Knavel. Also preceded in death by husband, Robert C., who died May 1, 1975. 
Survived by sister, Freda McCreary; nephew, Jim McCreary, married to the former 
Theresa Gregorich; and grandnephews Ian and Kurt McCreary, all of Windber. Grace 
was a former employee of Windber Water Co., and lifelong member of Scalp Level 
Trinity UMC, Horn Road, Windber. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. 
until time of service at 11 a.m. at Scalp Level Trinity UMC, where service will 
be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Art Moffat Jr., pastor, officiating. 
Interment Dunmyer Cemetery, Elton. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to 
Scalp Level Trinity UMC Building Fund in Grace's memory.
