  Paul S. Thomas, 77, of Saylor School Road, Hollsopple RD, died Sept. 15,
  1998, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born April 9, 1921, in
  Conemaugh Township, son of Owen W, and Stella M. (Saylor) Thomas.  Preceded
  in death by parents and sister, Mildred Croyle.  Survived by wife, the
  former Martha Eash; children: Marvin E., married to the former Judy Hoover,
  and Stanwin P., married to the former Sherry Grove, both of Hollsopple RD,
  and Dale O., married to the former Retha Miller, Boswell RD; also 8
  grandchildren.  Brother of Grace, wife of John Yoder Jr., and Lena, wife of
  Ammon Sala, both of Hollsopple RD. Lifelong member of Thomas Mennonite
  Church, Thomas Mills.  Also member of Pittsburgh Local 66, Operating
  Engineers, and Jayco Camping Club.  Observed 52nd wedding anniversary on
  July 13, 1998.  Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of
  service at 11 a.m. Friday at Thomas Church, Rev. Wayne Lasure officiating.
  Interment, church cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Thomas Mennonite
  Church Pavilion Fund, 112 Swank Road, Hollsopple, Pa. 15935.
