  VAN DIVENDER
  
  Mrs. Vivian S. VanDivender, 73, of Masonic Home, Elizabethtown, formerly of
  Jerome, died Jan. 28, 1978 at the home.  Born Nov. 20, 1904 in Tunnelton, W.
  Va., daughter of Alonzo H. and Elizabeth (Brandler) Shumaker.  Preceded in
  death by parents; sisters, Myrtle and Rhea.  Survived by husband, Vernon
  R., Masonic Home, Elizabethtown; sisters, Zeta, widow of J. Charlton Truax,
  and Aleda U. Shumaker, both of Jerome.  Member of the Jerome Lutheran
  Church, Eastern Star Lodge 303, Ebensburg; and Auxiliary of the Jerome Fire
  Co.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph H.
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where prayer services
  will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday followed by funeral services at 10 a.m.
  at the Jerome Lutheran Church, the Rev. George A. Clark.  Interment, Odd
  Fellows Cemetery, Salisbury.
