Born in Mount Pleasant, son of Hays Eugene and Effie (Hoke) Wadsworth, Somerset. Survived by his wife, Dorothy D. (Gnagey) Wadsworth. Married 42 years on Aug. 12. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two sons: Thomas D. of Landisville and Michael E. of Lititz; also four grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Marie Forney of Somerset. Resident of Lancaster since 1974. Retired in 1991 as a training manager for Ford New Holland. Member of Hempfield Church of the Brethren and American Legion. A Mason, he was a member of York Blue Lodge 266 and Harrisburg Consistory. Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War. Graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1953 with a bachelor of science degree in geology. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hempfield Church of the Brethren, 1186 Stevens St., Manheim, Pa., with the pastor, L. Gene Bucher, officiating. Private interment at convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 p.m. Sunday until time of the service. Please omit flowers.
