Walker, 87, of Friedens RD 2, died April 29, 1990, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 21, 1903, in Allegheny Township. Daughter of Albert and Susan (Hartge) Clites. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Willard W.; brothers, George and Warren Ray; sisters, Edith Crissinger, Cora Groft, Florence Poorbaugh and Ruth Penn, and a granddaughter, Shelly Walker. Survived by these children: Dale, married to the former Eileen Shaulis, and Duane, married to the former Janet Hummel, both of Somerset RD 2; Devon "Ted," married to the former Jean Lamberson, Friedens RD 1; Mrs. James (Celestea) Tataleba, Berlin RD 3; also 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville, and Women of ELCA and Silver and Gold Senior Citizens. She was a former Somerset County school teacher and Sunday school teacher. Family received friends Monday evening and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, BERLIN. Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 am. Wednesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Rev. Horst H. Bandle. Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville.
