Walker of Boynton died in the Church of the Brethren Home in Scalp Level on Tuesday Dec. 18, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Boynton on April 3, 1913, a son of Russel C. and Gertrude (Bittner) Walker. He vas 49 years, eight months and 15 days of age. He was married to the former Miss Freda House. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, James and Michael Walker; by two daughters; Mrs. Janet Brown and Diana Walker, all of Boynton; by three brothers; William R. Walker, Boynton; John A. Walker, Baltimore, and Paul Walker of Boynton; by three sisters: Mrs. Mary Schrock, Salisbury; Mrs. Jane Barnhart, Baltimore and Mrs. Anabell Christner, Frostburg, and by three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted in Thomas Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Paul M. Alumbaugh officiating. Interment in the IOOF Cemetery in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas.
