C. Weaver, died Monday morning at her home in Shanksville, following a brief illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Weaver had been in poor health for the last three years, having undergone two operations. She was able to be about however, until last Thursday, when she contracted a heavy cold. Pneumonia developed on Saturday morning. Mrs. Weaver was a daughter of Ellsworth and Margaret (Gohn) Lambert, and was born March 3, 1886, in Lambertsville. Following her marriage she resided in Johnstown until 16 years ago, when she removed to Shanksville. Surviving are her husband, her father, a daughter, Mrs. Webster Stull, of Buckstown; a son, William, at home; a step-sister, Miss Marian Lambert, of Lambertsville, and a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Jacob Miller, of Berlin R. D.; O. W. Lambert, of Shanksville, and Guy Lambert, of Johnstown. Mrs. Weaver was an active member of the United Brethren Church at Shanksville for many years. Brief funeral services were conducted at her late home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and later in the United Brethren Church in charge of Rev. W. Maynard Sparks.
