  Mary J. Weidner, 72, of Benning Rd., Allegheny Township, was called
  from this life by her Lord and Savior on May 22, 2000 at home.  Born
  in Bellville, W.Va., daughter of Lyndsy and Mae (Monroe) Sloan. 
  Preceded in death by parents, brother and sister-in-law, John and
  Orpha Sloan.  Survived by her husband Arnold M. Weidner and son Gene
  Riel married to the former Valory Blair, West Salem, Ohio;
  grandchildren: Todd and wife Shelly Riel, West Salem, Ohio, and Kelly
  Riel, Bloomville, Ohio.  Brother of Rev. Clay Sloan and wife Gerry,
  Parkersburg, W.Va. and Gladys married to Rev. Ernest Hale, Vienna,
  W.Va.  Niece, Linda, married to Joe Meyer, Canton, Ohio; nephews:
  Roger Hale and wife Cheryl, Parkersburg, W.Va.; Max Sloan, Belpre,
  Ohio; Doyle Sloan and wife Teddy, Fairlawn, Ohio; Dale Sloan and wife
  Denise, Kent, Ohio, and niece Ruth Ann married to James Moss, Bonita
  Springs, Fla.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glen Savage. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.  Viewing from 1 p.m. until time of
  service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran church, Glen
  Savage.  The Rev. John Jenista officiating.  Interment, Church
  Cemetery.
