WEIMER, Russell "Sonny" Jr.  12/19/07  DA

Russell "Sonny" Weimer Jr., 71, died of natural causes on Dec. 16, 2007, at his 
home east of Glasgow, Mont. He was born Jan. 2, 1936, in Somerset, the son of 
Russell Albert and Hazel L. (Sannoder) Weimer. Survived by his wife, Janet 
(Davidson) Weimer, whom he married on Aug. 20, 1969; two sons, Mike Weimer, 
Winifred, Mont.; and Ron Weimer, Oklahoma City; three daughters, Susan, Denver; 
Paula, Fort Myers, Fla.; and Carol, Lorain, Ohio; sister, Marlene Lambert, 
Somerset; brother, William Weimer, Tennessee; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-
grandchildren. He served several years in the U.S. Air Force, including serving 
in Vietnam. When he returned home, he went to work for the Valley County Road 
Department, working for 23 1/2 years. He was also a member of the Fraternal 
Order of Eagles, Somerset. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Bell 
Chapel, Glasgow, followed by a private burial. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in 
charge of arrangements.
