WEIMER, Wilbur C.

Wilbur C. Weimer, 90, Rockwood, passed on Jan. 10, 2008, at Siemon's Lakeview 
Manor Estate. Born May 9, 1917, in Black Township, he is the son of the late 
Charles And Laura (Miller) Weimer. He is also preceded in death by his son, 
Ronald  Weimer; daughter, Janice Weimer; sisters, Hazel Phillippi, Viola Clay, 
Evaline Sterner, and LaVerne Blackford; and brothers, Clifford, Everett, and 
Leicester Weimer. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Charlotte (Miller) 
Weimer; granddaughters, [*], California; and Patricia Weimer, Silver Spring, 
Md.; grandson, Charles Weimer, Crownsville, Md.; sister, Goldie Mayhugh,  
Rockwood; daughter-in-law, Jean Weimer, Crownsville, Md.; sister-in-law, Phyllis 
Weimer; Brother-in-law, Richard Blackford; and many nieces and nephews. He was 
an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a very active member of the former Rockwood 
United Church of Christ (currently the Trinity Reformed Church) over the years 
including terms as both deacon and elder.  He was a member of the Grace United 
Church of Christ in Garrett. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 
a.m. Monday. The Rev. Wayne Sautter and the Rev. Jane Metzgar officiating. 
Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the 
Grace United Methodist Church, Jackson St., Garrett, PA 15542.
