EVERETT C. WELCH

  The Hon. Everett C. Welch, former member of Pennsylvania state legislature and 
recorder of deeds in Somerset County from 1902 to 1905, died at his home in 
Friedens last Thursday afternoon at 1:30.
  Mr. Welch was a son of the Rev. J. J. and Mary Anne (Appleton) Welch, both 
deceased, and was born in Somerset County.  He was united in marriage in 1885 to 
Miss Louisa Lowry.
  He is survived by his wife, mentioned above, and the following children: 
Claude, at home, and Joel, of Meyersdale.
