  SHERMAN WEYANT
  
  Sherman Weyant, 74, of Central City RD 1, died Aug. 26, 1976 at
  Windber Hospital.  Born Oct. 6, 1901 at Imler, son of late Shannon
  and Sarah Feathers Weyant.  Preceded in death by six brothers and one
  sister.  Survived by his wife the former Elizabeth Snyder of Central
  City RD 1 and these children: Michael of Central City RD 1; Mrs.
  Dorothy Shippey, wife of Carl of Central City RD 1; Lawrence of
  Central City RD 1; Grace, wife of William Miller, Central City RD 1;
  Phillip and Anna, wife of Joseph Miller, both of Schellsburg RD 1; 18
  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He worked as a lumberman
  all of his life.  He was a member of the Assembly of God Church at
  Central City where the funeral service will be held Sunday Aug. 29 at
  2 p.m., Rev. Victor Brown officiating.  Friends will be received from
  7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Edward Blackburn
  Funeral Home, Pleasantville.  Interment, Schellsburg Cemetery.  The
  body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
