    Dale E. "Pappy" Wilson Sr., 72, of Berlin died Jan. 30, 1994 at
  Meyersdale Hospital.  Born April 8, 1921 in Berlin, son of Berdine
  and Wavie Pearl (Sidle) Wilson.  Preceded in death by parents and
  wife, the former Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Hartman.  Survived by
  grandson with whom he resided, David, married to former Jill Zerfoss
  and great-granddaughter, Brittany, with whom he resided.  Also
  survived by these children: Dale E. Jr., Akron, Ohio; and Pamela
  Kroon, Berlin; grandchildren: Joshua and Jillian Kroon.  Brother of
  Doris Jordan of Churchville, Va.; and Violet Johanyak and Richard
  Wilson, both of Brookville, Fla.  Retired after 30 years with Twin
  County Construction Co.  World War II Army veteran.  Life member of
  Berlin VFW Post 7295.  Also member of Berlin VFD.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev.
  Ralph Landis.  Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to American Cancer Society, South Lynn
  Avenue, Somerset, Pa., 15501.
