Beatrice Mason Woy, 88, formerly of Friedens, died Jan. 17, 2008, in Casa 
Grande, Ariz. Born April 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary 
(Menhorn) Mason. Also preceded in death by her husband, John Woy Sr.; sons, 
Edward and Patrick; sisters, Elizabeth Downs, Idella Cronemiller, Marie Moore 
and Thelma Reynolds; and a brother, Edward Woy Jr. Survived by children, John 
Woy Jr. and Joan Ohler, both of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and Fay Whipkey, Princeton, 
Texas; grandchildren, Tammy Augestine, Scott Whipkey Sr., Sherri Anthony, 
Christine Woy, Eric Woy, Christine Ohler, Wayne Ohler, Denise Vondy and J.P. 
Woy; six great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Sara 
Trimpey, Somerset, Roy Mason, Mechanicsburg and Clyde Mason, Findlay, Ohio. 
Member of the New Life Church of the Nazarene, Boswell. Friends received 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, 
where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Veora Tressler 
officiating. Interment, Beams Cemetery.
