YODER, Miriam S. (Zook)  

Miriam S. (Zook) Yoder, 85, Salisbury, died May 12, 2008, at her son David's 
home. Born March 12, 1923, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Noah D. and 
Rachel (Stoltzfus) Zook. Preceded in death by husband, Bennie A. Yoder; son, 
Joseph B., an infant son and an infant daughter, Rachael; one brother, Joel; two 
sisters, Rebecca and Fannie Zook; one sister in- law, Jemima, wife of Christian 
Zook. Survived by daughter-in-law, Nancy, widow of Joseph B. Yoder; two sons, 
Noah B. and wife, Fannie, Salisbury; David B. and wife, Lena, Friedens; 23 
grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; brother, Christian Zook; and sister, 
Lydia, wife of Alvin C. Yoder. Friends are being received at the home, 468 
Niverton Road, Salisbury. Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at the 
Niverton Amish Church. The Bishop Eli N. Brenneman officiating. Interment under 
the direction of M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
