  Richard W. Yost, Sr., 46, of Boswell RD 1, died Feb. 19, 1977, at home. Born
  June 1, 1930, in Stoystown, a son of Doast and Barbara Amanda (Speicker)
  Yost. Preceded in death by parents, a sister and a brother. Survived by
  widow, the former Verna A. Snyder, and these children: Raymond W., Grand
  Forks Air Force base, ND.; William E., Boswell RD 1; Robert L., Boswell;
  Catherine A., Gwendoline E., Eric W. and Richard W., Jr., all at home. Five
  grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Grace Boyer and Marlin, both of Johnstown;
  Catherine Kolich, Hagerstown, Md.; James, Wapwallopen, Pa.; Mrs. Dorothy
  Peterson, Hollsopple RD 1; Mrs. Margaret Huber, Tire Hill; Member of Windber
  Church of the Brethren. Custodian for North Star schools. Friends received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Tuesday at Joseph G.
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Donald Speigle officiating. Interment, Berkey
  Cemetery. Windber.
