  Lois E. Young, 69, 108 East Penn St., Martinsburg, Pa., died March 19, 1987,
  at the Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. Born Sept. 8, 1917 in
  Johnstown, daughter of Milton G. and Parnell (Eichelberger) Lohr. Preceded in
  death by a brother, Milton Jr. She married W. Wayne Young on May 17, 1941, in
  Winchester, Va., who survives with three children: Linda L. Barr, and David
  M., both of Martinsburg; and Jerry W. of Williamsburg RD. Also survived by
  her father of Stoystown RD; five grandsons; three brothers and sisters:
  Frances Rhoads of Stoystown RD 1; Paul of Meyersdale RD 2; and Donald of
  Columbia, Pa. Was a member of the Martinsburg United Methodist Church and the
  United Methodist Women. Retired as an elementary school teacher after 31 years
  of service. She taught school 19521957 at Forbes School in Kantner, 1958-1968
  at Woodbury Elementary School, and 1968-1983 at the Benson School of
  Martinsburg.
  Friends received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral
  Home, Woodbury, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev.
  Erma Wisor officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. In lieu of
  flowers, memorials may be sent to the Amyothrophic Lateral Sclerosos
  Foundation, P.O. Box 2127, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15230 or the Allegheny Lutheran
  Home, Hollidaysburg.
