She was born Oct. 4, 1902, Somerset County, daughter of the late James and Sarah Knopsnyder. She is survived by one son, Cecil Younkin, married to the former Jane Harding, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Gloria) Grata, Salix; one brother, Howard Knopsnyder of Rockwood RD 1; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Thompson of Markleton and Mrs. Debora Walsh of Friedens RD 1. Also survived by her son-in-law, Charles Hepner, and daughter-in-law, Joy (Younkin) Howard; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey Younkin; an infant daughter, Ethel, and Leora Hepner and Warren Younkin. Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Richard Yates officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
