  Mary Phillips Yuchnik, 69, 322 Somerset Ave., Jerome, was pronounced dead
  March 26, 1982, at home. Born May 8, 1913, in Somerset County, she was a
  daughter of Charles and Barbara (Suhar) Phillips. Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, John, who died Feb. 3, 1971; infant brother and infant
  sister. Survived by these children: Mary Ann, wife of John Zablotney,
  Cleveland, Ohio; Stella, wife of David Straka, and Helen, wife of Robert
  Turgeon, both of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
  Sister of: Anna, widow of John Kertis, Michael, married to the former Wanda
  Nosal, and Julia, widow of Theodore Krupa, all of Jerome; Margaret, wife of
  Stanley Grebeck, Stoystown RD 1; Helen, wife of Andrew Jock, Stoystown RD 2,
  Elizabeth, wife of John Stetz, Windber; and Alice, wife of Walter Blucas,
  Boswell. Member of SS Peter and Paul's Byzantine Catholic Church, Jerome, and
  auxiliary to Jerome Volunteer Fire Department. Friends received from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Sunday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home,
  227 Allegheny St., Boswell where prayer service will be held at 8:15 a.m.
  Tuesday followed by funeral liturgy at 1 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul's church,
  Jerome, with the Rev. Tho....officiating.  Interment....cemetery.
