  ZERFOSS
  
  Agnes C. Zerfoss, 95, of Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown, formerly of 
  Somerset RD 2, died Nov. 9, 1982, in the home.  Born Nov. 2, 1887, in Somerset 
  County, a daughter of Henry and Mary (Brooks) Darr.  Preceded in death by 
  parents, six sisters, two brothers, and her husband, Walter Zerfoss.  Survived 
  by these children: Mary Swauger, Kent, Ohio; Nancy Hoffman, Somerset RD 3; and 
  Minnie Hemminger, Westville, Ind.; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 
  two great-great grandchildren.  One brother, Freeman Darr, Johnstown.  Life-long 
  member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church and Ladies Volunteer Bible Class.  
  Friends will be received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, from 2-4 and 
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday (today.) Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 
  a.m., in Casebeer Lutheran Church, with Pastor George Walton officiating.  
  Interment, church cemetery.  Body will lie in state in the church from 10 a.m. 
  until the hour of service.
