The Agitator.: (Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pa.) January 18, 1865
Dr. J. W. Stewart, of Rochester, N. Y., now at 74 Gray St., Elmira, N. Y., will be
at E. S. Fare’s Hotel, Tioga, Pa., Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 28 and 29, 1865, for
the purpose of healing the sick and afflicted. No medicine given, no surgical
operations performed. Those persons who cannot afford to pay are cordially invited
without money and without price, cleanliness only being required. He says he depends
on an Invisible Power with which Nature seems to have endowed him, in healing the
Sick and Afflicted.
