D. 2 (Lloydsville), died Monday evening in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in eastern France July 19, 1893, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chivoldi (Louise) Copelli. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church; retired coal miner; veteran of World War I, U. S. Army; member of the VFW; honorary member of the Lloydsville Fire Department, and steward of Lloydsville Social Club. He is survived by his widow, Margaret Cabana Copelli; two sons and four daughters, Robert, James, Mrs. Sam (Louise) Lattanzio, Mrs. Domenick (Marian) Rullo, Mrs. Fred (Evelyn) Hantz and Mrs. Eugene (Nancy) August, all of Latrobe R.D. 2; one brother and one sister, Camillo (Pat) Copelli of New Derry and Mrs. Louise Fowler of Pittsburgh; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
