Latrobe Bulletin Sat Aug 21 1948 
James Eugene Gray, who would have been 17 had he lived until September 6, died
at 3:05 a.m. today at the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh following an illness
of four months. He was the son of Theodore and Kathryn Drugg Gray, of Torrance,
and was a junior at Derry Township High School. He belonged to Company L of the
Pennsylvania National Guard. Besides his patents, he is survived by his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Gray, of Torrance. Funeral services will be
held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville, in charge of
the Rev. Walter Krause, pastor of the Torrance Methodist Church. Interment will
be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
