All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donald Buncie donaldbuncie@hotmail.com April 22, 2026, 1:59 pm Latrobe Bulletin Mon Jul 18 1932 James Allison Gray, aged 31 years, of 411 Second Avenue, Derry, employed as a truck driver by the Latrobe Baking Company, died at 12:40 o'clock this morning in the Allegheny General hospital, Pittsburgh, of auriculor fibrillation (enlargement of the heart.) Mr. Gray went to Pittsburgh last week to visit with relatives. Last Tuesday he became ill and went to the hospital for an examination. He was told to return for further examination last Friday, which he did. He was kept under observation at the hospital, but his condition continued to grow worse and this morning his death occurred. Mr. Gray moved to Derry from Indiana county about a year ago. He was the son of Robert and Mary Allison Gray, having been born on July 26, 1901. Eight years ago he was married to Miss Mildred V. Stouffer, of Derry. He is survived by his widow, two children, James E., aged 7 years, and Florence I., aged 3 years. He is also survived by his parents and the following sisters: Mrs. Bertha Zanell and Mrs. Jessie Grimm, both of Pittssburgh; Mrs. John McHenry, of DuBois; Mrs. William Davis and Mrs. Floyd Cribbs, both of Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at his late home in Derry at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Sites. Interment will be made in Cole's cemetery.
